Originally from Sydney, Australia, DJ Sick Puppy (a.k.a. Shibuya) moved to New York in 2001, bringing his box of records and an upbeat down-under style with him. He has been playing at parties and on radio since 1997 when he co-hosted the popular Friday drive-time slot each week on 2SER, Sydney's top independent radio station. Since then, he has hosted regular radio shows on four other stations in Sydney and New York City, played at a wide range of venues from Burning Man in Nevada and the forests of California to bars, lofts and clubs in New York, and recorded a number of CDs.

His styles range from deep house and electro through to progressive house, often focusing on the melodic jazzy and funky sounds in between. Since moving to the States, he has been playing more and more breakbeat for crowds that crave that harder bass and frenetic rhythm. While he works on his Physics degree, he can usually be found promoting and spinning at parties in central New York.
