Scottie B is the man behind the funk. He founded dankfunk productions in 1996 and has never looked back. Playing at many of the biggest events in New York and across the nation, Scottie has shared bills with DJ Dan, Nigel Richards, Roy Davis JR, DJ Godfather, Bryan Zentz, Green Velvet, Donald Glaude, Frankie Bones, Stanny Franssen and many more. As one half of "The Shift" he has produced numerous tracks, and most recently a remix of Khia's "My Neck My Back" for Artemis Records. His style ranges from funky techno to groovy house, and always keeps the crowd going. His 3 turntable sets are always highly anticipated. Scottie lives in Brooklyn, New York and his current residencies include nights at Discotheque, Drinkland, Galapagos and Halcyon (you can tune in live on groovetech.com mondays 6-9).
