Steve Clotho has been DJing for 6 years, first stepping up to the decks in early 2000. Growing up with a love for music in general, and specifically old school hip-hop, he has always had a love for a funky break. After seeing his first breakbeat DJ in the spring of '99, Steve knew he found the sound that fueled him. He started out spinning Florida breaks and funky house, but once he heard the nuskool and funky UK sounds, he was hooked. Clotho has been spinning out at the clubs and parties in and around Rochester, NY for a couple years now, constantly trying to push the breakbeat sound. In the fall of '04, he teamed up with Arod and Raj Marathe to form NuRoc Breaks (later adding Noah B.C. to the roster), Rochester's only all breaks crew, to push breaks even further. In January '05, NuRoc was offered a bi-monthly show on Breaks FM, the #1 award winning online radio station for breaks, and they have been holding it down on the internet airwaves every other Wednesday since then. After joining the Sik of it All crew in the fall of '05 and spinning alongside some of the biggest names in EDM, it looks like the sky's the limit for Clotho.
