Going back to 1994, Meniscus began his passion into sound manipulation at a time when underground rave culture was expanding at the rate of the universe in its infancy during the big bang.  At a time when the Ambient Scene was at its peak he played a major role in its acceptance at commercial and underground events alike, playing major venues and events providing a social epicenter and atmosphere with extended sets, mixing records, playing live with virtually anything and everything that could be plugged in, turned on, and tweaked out.

The year 2000, was the year that saw the birth of his new label Tangent Recordings, Primarily a ambient and ultrabeat label, Tangent will showcase his own projects along of those of others, who still strive to bring back that which was a part of our underground culture.  Meniscus is currently in the studio recording his first Album for Tangent, due to be released in Summer 2001.
