For those of you that come to Syracuse/Trexx events from out of town, where do you stay? Is there a hotel where most of the Upstate party people tend to flock? The cheapest, closest, most convenient spot? The hotel with the best free breakfast? Comfiest beds?

I usually just rage it when I come to events in the 'Cuse. Unless it's a camping event, I generally don't spend the dough & stay overnight. However, I am super stoked about "War On Drums" & the after-party, and want to reserve a room for NYE ahead of time so I can really enjoy myself without worrying. I don't want to be driving all the way back to Bing on New Year's... I think that's just asking for trouble!

Who better to ask for tips on places to crash than all of you? Suggestions anyone?

Thanks in advance from Boogie! :)

bad hotels are bad. I for one don't want to sleep in some grungy toe jam crusted bed, and take a shower in a bathroom that when you turn on the light all the cockroaches run for cover.

Is the Econo really that bad?? That IS close, and cheap... I would rather not drive too far. How long/convoluted of a drive is it to Carrier?

I would say Carrier Circle is a good bet, but obv. isn't walking distance, if that is what you are going for. Motel 6 is like 50 bucks a night. Although you get what you pay for.

I personally like the rave roof inn, or The Doubletree BC they give you free cookies that are dope.

The whole idea behind clubs like trexx is that you don't need to find a hotel, because you're sharin a warm bed with some sexy stud.

dont stay at the ecno lodge [if thats the name?].. it's the closest to trexx and it's real ghetto to the extent that they dont let you have visitors unless you pay $20 per visitor... there are a couple hotels aound e. genesee towards east syracuse but they tend to be expensive... best cheap hotels are all the way by carrier circle basically.

Sleep? Who needs Sleep?

Now if you excuse me, time to take a nap before I go out tonight.

....on an other note, I'll be jetting back home after the party, so let me know if you and Rob wanna cruise with me and Lisa.
