So, went to the Psyclone CD release party on Brooklyn with dave, was done very nicely =] Showed up with Phungeye about 5 minutes past ten, people were just showing up, got our wrist bands, free cd's, and raged face till 6am. Was a magical trip down to the city, in a few interesting ways. The upstairs of the warehouse "the red hook" was all hardcore psytrance, pounding in your ears dance with acid kinda stuff. But downstairs.. my god, was amazing, everything was aura-blue lit, very chill, the groups down there played an atmospheric drum-and-bass and dubstep mixture.. which was relaxing, plenty of place to cush down and meditate, dance circles and live paintings, OH! the tapestriesss! tapestries were all hand painted UV light filtered, and simply WOW, was totally amazed by most of everything. Uploading some pics to photobucket as I type this, 109 pics and vids. The end of the night was interesting, got lost a few times leaving the city, but I managed to remember my gf's directions at 7am, tired as hell, BACKWARDS to get us out of there, mad skills huh? Got back to the Cosm and everyone crashed to family guy. Cheers.

This event was a definite success. Everything from the attendance, mood/atmosphere and talent was there in full effect. I walked in around 11:30pm w/o any issues and Phungeye was tearing it up to a full dancefloor playing a wide range of psy from progressive to full-on. The rest of the nights talent was just as impressive. Parus for me, stole the show. What an incredible duo, both production and presence are top notch! I was taking mental notes. =) Tapestries, sound system & mostly the people made the night. Just a great sense of family at these psy events.
